1. What was your first impression of this site?
2. How does this site organize the flow of information? (Do they have links on the left and text on the right? Some other scheme? No scheme?)
3. Does the site structure make sense or does it confuse you? Why?
4. Does the site graphics/layout/multimedia enhance the site or detract from it? Why?
5. How long did it take for the home page to load? Was the load time reasonable?
6. Was the text color and size readable? If a background color or image was used, did it enhance or detract from the site?
7. Did the site have a navigation bar or other navigation tool? Was the navigation well done?
8. Did the site have a color scheme or look and feel that was repeated on all the pages?
9. How does the site respond to smaller window sizes (responsive design)?
10. What does this site offer that was unusual or very well done?

Answers:

1. My first impression of the Utah National parks website is that its alright but not great. When you frist click on the website, you can see just how glitchy it is. After the page is refreshed, it shows an error page, but if you click to other spots on the site, it seems to work. Even though the start is a little rough, the rest of the site looks very good and put together.
2. The organization of the website is good. Everything is pretty clearly labeled and tabs are easy to find. It is not hard to figure out what to click on to find information for the place you want to go to. It also has videos and many links!
3. The site structure makes sense to me. You click on tabs at the top to go to diffrent places on the site. After hovering over one of those tabs it leads you to many more things to narrow your search. For example: if you hover over the tab labeled destinations, a drop down should appear and you can look at diffrent national parks and cities in Utah, from there you will know where to go to find the information that you want.
4. I think that the sites graphics deffintly enhance the site. It makes the website as a whole, a lot more intresting to look at, but I think its also important for a variety of reasons. The most important reason being that the site is a travel site. The pictures make the places more appealing and give an idea to the reader of what they look like. The videos also help for this reason, since it also gives the reader a glimpse of the place they may want to travel to.
5. The home page would actually not load fully, to get it to stop loading it self, you have to click on the X where the refresh would normally be. After that was over you could click on everything else freely with only little loading.
6. Yes, the text size and color was readable because they used easy colors to read I think that the background color was fine because it makes the words easy to read but its just a gray so it didnt really add anything new to the website.
7. Yes, the site had a bar at the top which made it easy to find what you wanted. I think they organized the bar well and it is not hard to find the thing your searching for.
8. Yes, the color scheme is repeated on every page, with neutral colors and images of sites. It looks very nice and well done.
9. Even having your smaller window sizes the website still looks nice and organized no matter the size.
10. This site has lots of images and diffrent places to go throughout the website. This is well done because it is a large website but everypage looks well done and its well organized.
